CABA RESEARCH PROJECTS Improving Organizational Productivity with Building Automation Systems
The Continental Automated Buildings Association is conducting a Boutique Research project called “Improving Organizational Productivity with Building Automation Systems”. NRC and Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA) members are undertaking a structured initiative to demonstrate that smart, integrated technologies produce organizational productivity gains in addition to energy and environmental savings. The result will transform the high-performance buildings industry by establishing the built environment as a strategic tool for organizations to achieve their goals. CABA AND THESE MEMBERS ARE COLLABORATING AND FUNDING THIS RESEARCH: Page 9

The following CABA Members have tentatively agreed to participate in this new CABA Program: BSRIA Compass Intelligence Navigant Research Page 12

CABA Teaming Agreements
CABA member organizations can work together to ‘beta test’ a new problem, they would like to solve, in a pilot project. This differs from other CABA market research projects (Landmark or Multi-Client Boutique) because intellectual property and/or patents may be involved. The CABA Teaming Agreement program was successfully done by CABA in the past (i.e., Laundry Time) and there has been interest by CABA members to start new Teaming Agreements. CABA is actively seeking organizations that would be interested in participating in a pilot project to solve a particular problem they are facing. Contact Greg Walker, CABA Research Director, for more information. Page 13
