9. Iciniti Order Reader is launched from an application installed on the Sage server and remains running as a minimized application at all times.
While the Order Reader is running, it connects, at set intervals, to a remote web server to request new orders.
New orders are downloaded from the web server and inserted into the Sage database.

10. Iciniti Order Reader safely operates behind an Internet firewall, since it initiates the HTTP/HTTPS connection to the remote web server .
With non-Iciniti web stores, order files must be saved to a folder on the webserver.
Using a transformation script, the order data is mapped to Sage OE data fields in the OE View.

Iciniti Order Reader is installed on your Sage server. It is configurable to poll for orders on an interval or can be run on-demand.
Users can monitor saved and failed orders. Detailed errors are displayed for failed orders.
