Lesson 1 The Greatest Book Ever Written Target truths for the lesson The Bible is the inspired Word of God. Jesus is God and was the Creator of the universe. The Word of God has always existed. The Holy Spirit worked through many different men to put God’s eternal Word into written form for us. Jesus Christ is the living Word of God.

Enthusiastic: Definition: full zeal or passion Antonyms: passive; disinterested; apathetic Divide a sheet of paper into two columns, and label one “enthusiastic” and the other “passive.” Think of synonyms under each heading. Which one best describes you?
