1 Bandura’s Experiment Cherell German

2 Albert Bandurum Composed an experiment of having a child watch an adult kick, pound, and take aggressive anger out on a Bobo doll for about 10 minutes to study the behavior of observational learning. He tells the child that he isn't able to play with certain toys to anger the child and puts him alone in a room with a bobo doll. Result: the child imitates almost exactly what he saw the adult do.(cursing, pounding, hitting)

3 Conclusion Observational learning-learning by observing others
Modeling-the process of observing and imitating a specific behavior Mirror Neurons- neuron that fires back an reaction that another person does

4 Applications of Observational Learning
Antisocial Behavior-can come from a certain lifestyle or even watching television, negative behavior Prosocial Behavior- constructive, helpful behavior A person who grew up in a environment where he or she experienced abuse will more likely grow up to abuse his or her mate.

5 Television Many scientists believe that television has a big effect on a child's behavior. WWE, The Bad Girls Club, Dora, Music Videos The longer you watch or are exposed to violence it desensitizes viewers(become indifferent to it as they get older.
