4 ABOUT US SACO, a leading designer since 1985 for the manufacturing of aluminium caps and shrouds for the cosmetic industry. It offers component design, in-house tooling, pressing, assembly and a unique anodising service, which guarantees the highest quality product reaches the customer. Overview SACO is a leading designer and manufacturer of aluminium caps and shrouds for the cosmetic industry since It offers innovative component design in house along with producing tooling, pressing, assembly and a unique anodising service all on the same premises which guarantees the highest quality to the customer. Customer Service Our strong and flexible customer service skills and attention to detail have secured and expanded our market position continuously since 1985. Our On Time Delivery is among the highest in the industry with January 2013 to May 2013 hitting a 99% OTD. Product Range With over 1500 standard caps and shrouds we offer one of the largest standard ranges in the world. Our skilled design team strives to add new designs to our standard range every year to meet with market trends with no tooling costs to customers. We also offer bespoke custom components with very competitive tooling and component prices. Workforce We at SACO invest in our workforce. We are a leading employer in the area with over 200 employees working on a 3 shift system. We have a dedicated team with over 30 highly skilled engineers. We have an onsite maintenance engineering department which means we are a fully self sufficient manufacturing company. We offer apprenticeships year on year in our tool room and maintenance department.

5 Design Customer design ideas will be realised by one of the largest teams of highly skilled tool-making engineers in the industry and with the aid of Solidworks and CAD/CAM technology, will provide the best possible quality component on the market anodised in any one of our colour’s in our extensive range. Production The factory operates 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, with a capacity well in excess of 5 million components per week, which makes our turn-around times some of the shortest in the industry. Production facilities include over 50 transfer presses, a flexible high speed anodising plant and 9 assembly machines. Accreditations SA 8000 compliance awarded in 2002 ETI Base Code awarded in 2002 BS EN ISO 9001:2008 awarded in 2009 Green Credentials We care At SACO we pride ourselves on striving to reduce our carbon footprint and following all the latest regulations on waste carbon emissions and environmental issues. How we help We help by ensuring that no methods we use to produce our products have overly-high carbon emissions. If they do we quickly work to reduce these as soon as possible. We do this by reducing energy usage, water, electricity and fuel use, disposing of waste material correctly and recycling where possible. We are fully compliant with all EU legislations.
