It is an island between the North Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Japan.
It is east of the Korean Peninsula.

Japan has tall and rocky mountain ranges.
A famous and beautiful mountain in Japan is Mt.Fuji.
Mt. Fuji is 3,776 meters or 12,390 feet high.

4. Climate Of Japan Winter- very snowy
Winter starts in Dec. and ends in Feb.
Spring- warm and winds are calm.
Spring starts in Mar. and ends in May.
From mid-June the country goes into a long rainy season.
Summer- hot
Summer starts in June and ends in Aug.
Fall- the same as Spring
Fall starts in Sept. and ends in Nov.
