Constitution of Medina Analysis
Goal: What did the Islamic theocracy look like under Muhammad? Step 1: Read each of the clauses of the Constitution of Medina. Underline characteristics or values of the community that Muhammad is trying to create. Step 2: Circle similarities to the Qur’an and box any differences (how could this document support/be supported by the words of Allah?) Step 3: Complete the analysis questions using the sample response starters and quote sandwiches!!
