2. Once upon a time there were two brothers
Once upon a time there were two brothers. Mark was 12 and Ricky was 8 years old. One day Mark went with Ricky to his favourite place to smoke. Mark decided to give him one and to share it with him for the first time.

3. At that moment, they saw a man who was trying to commit suicide and Mark decided help him… and Ricky got really scared. The man saw Mark and grabbed him into his car but Mark could run away, caught Ricky and saw the scene of his suicide with Ricky.

4. The man was Jerome Clifford, a lawyer who was defending a member of the mafia. He knew that the mafia had killed a senator and where they had hid the body. Romey told Mark where the body was and then Romey committed suicide…

5. Mark and Ricky ran to the house
Mark and Ricky ran to the house. Ricky started shaking and he put his thumb in his mouth, he was shocked. Mark called 911, but he didn´t say his name. Dianne, the kid´s mother saw her son and decided to take him to hospital.

6. At hospital, Mark met the FBI agents who started asking him some questions. Mark told them that he had seen the body after his death but he did not tell them that he had talked with Clifford.

His client, Barry Muldanno, was worried about Clifford´s death. Barry the Blade wore shiny suits and a lot of gold. He enjoyed a good life and liked people to be afraid of him. Clifford was his lawyer and knew many things about him and that was the reason why he committed suicide.

8. Barry´s face was in all the newspapers because of the trial for the Senator´s murder. He was not worried about it because nobody could find the senator´s body, and without it there was no evidence of the murder.

9. Clifford was a good mafia lawyer, but Barry Muldanno had scared him, because he told him the place where the body was hidden: under his boat in his own garage…
 but then Clifford disappeared and now he was dead. Barry needed a new lawyer quickly.

10. Another man wanted information about the death too
Another man wanted information about the death too. He was a crime reporter called Slick Moeller who worked in the Memphis press. Crime was his life, he knew everything about crimes. He often knew about crime before the cops.

11. Slick knew a lot about crime…that Clifford was Barry´s lawyer… that Foltrigg, the FBI agent, was coming to town…he had heard about the two boys and that one of them was in shock… and he also knew something that Mark didn´t know…

12. … that Romey had left a note which nobody could read, and there were strange fingerprints on his whisky bottle…

13. Foltrigg was a US Goverment lawyer who was in charge of finding the Senator´s body. He was in his way to Memphis to find out more information about the murder. His job was to prove that Barry Muldanno had killed the Senator but in order to do it, he needed evidence.

14. In the "lobby" of the hospital Mark saw two people talking , one had a broken bone and the other one was a lawyer who was giving him his card. Mark listened carefully to the conversation and heard that the man was a road accident lawyer called Gill Teal, and he was offering his services to the man.

15. When the lawyer left, the man threw the lawyer´s card away
When the lawyer left, the man threw the lawyer´s card away. When both men left the "lobby" Mark took the card and put it in his pocket …he thought he needed a lawyer.

16. Foltrigg arrived at the FBI offices in Memphis and two other agents , Janet Mc Thune and Larry Truman introduced themselves.

17. Mc Thune explained everything to Foltrigg …what had happened… the kid … the car… where Mark lived .. She also told him that they thought Mark was lying because the fingerprints in Clifford´s whisky bottle matched with the fingerprints in the coke

18. … and that they belonged to Mark … because they had also found cigarretes near the car so they supposed that the boys had been smoking when Clifford arrived.
Foltrigg asked why Mark was lying… and Mc Thune told him that she thought the boy was scared… maybe Clifford told him something he did not need to know.

19. Dr. Greenway told Dianne that she had to be in the room with Ricky when he woke up. Greenway told them that Ricky was shocked but he was not worried, that it would just take some time.

20. Then the doctor showed Mark the newspaper with a picture of Clifford and his suicide and he also told Dianne that the FBI wanted to talk with Mark, but Mark didn´t want. So Dr. Greenway asked the FBI to delay the meeting until 12pm.

21. Mark went to look for Gill Teal but he wouldn´t receive him because he only took accident cases.

22. Mark was leaving the building when he saw Reggie Love´s office
Mark was leaving the building when he saw Reggie Love´s office. Mark told the secretary that he needed a lawyer and wanted to see Reggie.

23. Mark thought the Mafia would kill him if he said something
Mark thought the Mafia would kill him if he said something. He was very nervous and scared because he had seen in movies that the mafia did not forget… and therefore he did not want to talk to the FBI .

24. Mark entered the office. The lawyer was a woman called Reggie Love
Mark entered the office. The lawyer was a woman called Reggie Love. Mark looked really worried and told Reggie that the FBI wanted to talk to him in an hour…
Mark asked Reggie  if she promised not to tell anything he was going to tell her and  paid her a dollar to be his lawyer…
Reggie knew that the FBI could not prove that Mark knew where the body was.

25. When the FBI  arrived at the hospital, Reggie was in the waiting room … Reggie gave Mark a recorder which he put below his T- shirt in order to record the conversation to see if the FBI stuck by the rules.  Mark was really nervous so Reggie told him not to say anything and leave the room whenever he needed and that she would be waiting for him. Mark pushed the record button and entered the room.

26. The FBI agent told Mark he thought he was going to go with his mother, but he said she had to stay with his brother. The FBI told Mark that if he  did  not answer their questions he would go to prison…so, after a while,  Mark said he needed go to the toilet.

27. Then, Reggie got into the office and said she would like to see their ID.
Reggie asked if they had tried to get information without Mark´s mother… Reggie said she had it all in the tape. 

28. Mark was in the hospital, he felt really scared of the mafia because he remembered a film where the mafia had killed a man who had talked with the FBI.

29. When Dianne woke up, she asked him if he had talked with the FBI and Mark explained the conversation with them. Minutes later, the doctor arrived  and Mark decided to tell him more about the story of the scene with Clifford. The doctor looked weird because Mark didn´t remember anything the day before.

30. Slick started to find the names of the brothers
Slick started to find the names of the brothers. he started writing about Clifford´s death, he also told their story about where they were, where they lived, the fingerprints in the car… A nurse told Mark that he was famous, showing him the newspapers and it was then that Mark realized that he was in danger

31. On the lift, when Mark was going to have breakfast, a man got in
On the lift, when Mark was going to have breakfast, a man got in . He was Gronke, he was sent by the mafia to threaten Mark. Gronke told Mark that if he talked about Clifford, the mafia, Barry or anything related to the case, he would kill him and all his family.

32. …later, Mark was at Reggie's office talking about the newspapers
…later, Mark was at Reggie's office talking about the newspapers. He asked Reggie that he was not going to talk in court.

33. Mark started to cry when he told Reggie that the mafia had threatened him. She told him that he couldn't lie but that he could keep silent…

34. At the same time, Foltrigg was looking for some information about Reggie, about her past. He found that she was divorced, that she used to be a drinker and because of that she had lost her children. .. He thought that he could use this piece of information against her.

35. Knowing about Reggie´s past, Foltrigg supposed he could manage the situation.

36. Reggie and Mark returned to the hospital and there were reporters everywhere. They wanted to ask Reggie about the conversation between Mark and the FBI.

37. Reggie asked Diane if Mark could spend the night at her house
Reggie asked Diane if Mark could spend the night at her house. Mamma Love was Reggie´s mother. After dinner, mamma Love showed Mark some pictures. Reggie decided to protect Mark by sending him to mamma´s Love home.

38. The Mafia wanted Mark and his family to be scared so they drove to Tuckor Trailer Park…where Mark used to live.

39. The trailer, which was the Mark´s home, was burnt at four o´clock in the morning. Mark thought that maybe it was a warning from the man with the knife.

40. Foltrigg and Mc Thune thought that if they took Mark into custody they would not only frighten Mark and make him talk, but also protect him from the mafia so…

41. Dianne tried to avoid this but she couldn´t, and Mark was taken to jail.

42. The FBI agents talked to the judge who gave them the order
The FBI agents talked to the judge who gave them the order. When he was there, he asked a police woman to make a call.

43. His mother didn’t answer his call and Reggie either, so he decided to order some pizza and paid with the detective´s credit card.

44. The story of Mark appeared in the newspaper on Friday morning
The story of Mark appeared in the newspaper on Friday morning. Gronkie saw it so he told Barry Muldanno who told Gronkie that he had to kill Mark´s lawyer but Gronkie said that he wouldn´t kill anyone.

45. Foltrigg argued with the judge about the report in the newspaper.

46. Slick´s report in the newspaper made Reggie feel worried because the mafia would know everything that was going on. She told Mark about the Witness Protection Programme but Mark was not sure about it.

47. When Mark went into court again, he refused to answer to the judge ´s questions. Everybody was surprised at the recording that was played. Reggie could not believe that Muldanno wanted to kill her The judge considered Mark was in danger. So he returned him to custody. Slick went to court and refused to say who had given him this important information.

48. When Mark returned to prison he was ready for his plan
When Mark returned to prison he was ready for his plan. He ran around the room very fast. His heart was pounding and his face turned red and hot.

49. When Doreen entered and saw him lying on the floor and with his thumb in his mouth just like his brother, she started shouting fort help. The boy was taken to St Peters hospital in an ambulance.

50. When he was sure he was alone in a room he managed to go out and entered into an empty office. He called Reggie from there and asked her to meet him in the car park.

51. Reggie fetched him and they ran away
Reggie fetched him and they ran away. Mark and Reggie decided to go to New Orleans to see if the senator´s body was there. Reggie and Mark arrived in New Orleans on Saturday. The FBI were looking for them. In the way to Memphis they talked about the Witness Protection Programe.  After a while, they found Clifford house

52. Mark was in the garage when they heard Muldanno speaking
Mark was in the garage when they heard Muldanno speaking. They didn´t know what to do. He remained quiet on the boat…but when he was about to leave through a window Barry Muldanno saw him. 

53. Mark and Reggie started running away but Muldanno caught Reggie… and started hitting her …

54. …when suddenly Mark took Muldanno´s gun and pointed at him.

55. Reggie stood up, took the gun and shot an alarm which started ringing
Reggie stood up, took the gun and shot an alarm which started ringing. Muldanno and his men ran away .

56. Mark and Reggie got into the garage and finally found the Senator´s body.

57. Reggie immediately called the FBI and asked Foltrigg to get ready for the Witness Protection Programe…a new city, a new house, a hospital for Ricky, a new school for the kids, a job for Dianne …a totally new life for the Sways.

58. When they all met, Mark and Dianne hugged and Reggie confirmed that Ricky would be taken to hospital and that as soon as he was better they would be able to choose where to live.

59. Dianne and Reggie signed the papers and then they all walked towards the plane.

60. Mark and Reggie were at the airport with FBI´s detective, Trumann
Mark and Reggie were at the airport with FBI´s detective, Trumann. They were waiting for the FBI jet to arrive. When the jet landed, McThune appeared followed by Dianne, and Dr. Greenway carrying Ricky.

61.   Mark had been expecting Reggie to go with them but she explained to him that she could not go. She had tears in her eyes. She told him she loved him and that she was going to miss him.

62. Mark cried and told Reggie that he loved her and that he would miss her. He knew he would never see her again

63. As soon as they had left, Reggie told Foltrigg where the body was and that they had to thank Mark for that.
