8 Science/Technical Career Pathway in MPI
The work of MPI Scientists and Technicians underpins our mission to “Grow and Protect” New Zealand. This work includes: Conducting and providing scientific or technical advice, analysis, and services to customers and clients across MPI and externally; and Having a depth and breadth of knowledge in a specific scientific field(s) or MPI technical role and actively applying this expertise. The Science/Technical Career Pathway embraces all these areas, and will help anyone starting or interested in progressing their career as a Scientist or Technician at MPI.

9 Things you need to do regarding MPI science and evidence
Join the Science Network List– register through lists in Activate in Kotahi. If you have published science papers, join ResearchGate Read the MPI Science Strategy, science publications policy. Attend MPI science seminars and annual Science Conference. Look at relevant past MPI science reports relating to topics you are involved with. Access through MPIs website.
