2. What is the Company
Apple was established on April in Cupertino (California) and is a multinational corporation, that designs and markets consumer electronics, computer software and personal computers. Apple was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. In 1984 Apple released the Macintosh which is now the most well known product. There are 357 stores world wide that has 46,600 full time staff. The company has made $65.23 billion in 2010 worldwide. As well as owning all the Apple products they also own the software iTunes.

3. What products do they make
Macs :
They have all different kinds of Macs from, MacBook air which has a blackilt keyboard, all- flash storage, a high- speed thunderbolt, the all new Os X Lion which is very easy to use and many more things. The MacBook Air is light and is like a notepad which you can take with you everywhere you go. This starts form £849. Next is the Apple MacBook Pro this has game-changing graphics, and also facetime so you can call you friends and family where ever you are in the world. This starts from £999. the last Mac is called iMac is which is a desktop this computer starts at the price of £999 and can go up to £1, If you wanted a laptop to take with you around where you are going then you would want the MacBook Air but if you wanted a home computer then you would either want the MacBook Pro or the iMac.
iPads: The iPad 2 is just like a big iPod and a small laptop which is perfect for wherever you are going. The Ipad has over 140,000 which you can download, it has a 10 hour battery life. It is thin and light and comes in colours black and white. It has facetime which already come when you buy the iPad. You can now download the new iOS 5 which has over 200 new features. You can buy covers which come in pink, green, blue and many more. The Ipad starts at £399 depending if you have Wi-Fi + 3G or not.

iPods : The iPods you could pick are the iPod touch, iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano or the iPod classic. If you use your iPod a lot like going running with it or walking with it then you would be best with the iPod Nano or the iPod shuffle because then you van clip it on to whatever you are wearing at that time. If you like playing games or watching films or TV shows then you would be best with the iPod touch because then you can play games while you listen to your music. If you have a lot of music and you want a lot of space for it then the iPod classic is the best one because it has the most memory and you have up to 40,00 songs on there. The iPod shuffle starts at the price of £40 which would give you 2GB. The iPod Nano is £ for 8GB or £ for 16GB. The iPod touch is £ for 8GB, £ for 32GB or the 64GB for £ The iPod classic would cost you £199 for 16GB.
iPhones: There is 3 different kinds of iPhones that you could buy which are the iPhone 3Gs which is the oldest one, that would cost £319 with is black and 8GB, the next iPhone which you could get is the iPhone 4 which comes in a choice of white and black and would cost £429 for 8GB or if you wanted the newest one which is the iPhone 4s which came out today (14/10/2011) which would cost £499 to £699. If you wanted to keep up to date with technology you would most likely want the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4s buy if you just wanted it as a phone you might go for the iPhone 3Gs.

Apple got their name from Isaac Newton who was a famous scientist who discovered gravity when a apple fell on his head. This was their first logo which shows him sitting under the tree. They have then gone on to develop a simpler logo which is the apple. Apples first slogan was ‘byte into an apple’ which was coined in 1970s their next slogan was ‘ Think Different’ which was used from

Apple are always looking to develop their products and make them better by making new technology and coming up with ideas that nobody else has thought about.
The big part of the Apple brand is the design of their products. Their products feel fresh, modern and sleek and the main colours they use are shiny black, sliver and white. Apple try to design their products so they are simple to use and user friendly.
There is a certain amount of status that comes with having a Apple product. It makes people feel like they have the best of the best and it cant be toped.

7. Existing types/styles of advertising
They advertise on TV showing you what the iPhone or product does, they do it like they are talking to you so the adverts are quite personal to the viewer. And they say at the end ‘ if you don’t have a iPhone, well you don’t don’t have an iPhone.’ This infers that you are missing out if you haven't got an iPhone. The advert also shows the iPhone close up as they show what you can do.

They show other adverts on the internet, like they might have their website or pictures of their product on other websites. They might also have advertising in papers, magazine or on billboards around the cities or on their own website. They have their adverts in those because then most people wherever you are and wherever you like will be-able to see their products they are trying to sell you.

8. Existing types/styles of advertising
Some adverts on Apple products which are shown all round the world when a new Apple product is about to come out. They have them on Billboards because then they are easy to see and you can stop and look at them. They also have their product on billboards because then they would stand out from any other new products that are out there.

9. What services do they provide
Apple provide services for their costumers for example like iTunes where you can listen and download your favourite music or you could watch TV shows or the latest films. You could also go into a store to find out more about the product you have brought or thinking of buying. Once you find you local store you can go in for Personal Setup, one to one or you could go and see the Genius Bar for any technical questions about your Mac, iPod, Apple TV or iPhone you may have. They have workshops on daily bases and youth programs for kids and families.
