The first Black Friday was in 1924 in New York when “Macy’s”, a department store, organized a parade during Thanksgiving day to launch a big advertising campaign.

Nowadays, even in  countries that do not celebrate Thanksgiving day, Black Friday is becoming very popular and most retailers  partecipate this fun shopping day by offering promotional sales.
