1 Getting Started When you enter the Bridgit meeting it is a good idea to run the Audio Setup Wizard . Go to Menu and pull-down to Options. Click on Audio Settings Tab. Assure the Speakers and Microphone you are using are selected. Click on Audio Setup Wizard. Note: To run the wizard all other programs that play or record sounds must be turned off.

2 Audio Wizard Set-up Test and adjust your microphone. As you speak the color should move on the scrubber bar it goes from green to yellow (both good) to red (too loud) . Test your Speaker Set-up and adjust volume. You should hear the sound at a comfortable level. Click Finish to return to meeting

3 Features to use during meeting:
When you enter a meeting by default your microphone will be muted. If the moderator is sharing their desktop, you will need to click on the microphone icon (next to Menu) to display audio controls. When the controls are visible, click on the Open Mic to unmute your microphone. When your microphone is open, it will turn to green and the words next to it, will change to be Close Mic You can adjust your microphone volume by sliding the toggle.

4 Features to use during meeting:
When you are not speaking, you should always keep your microphone muted/closed. If you cannot comfortably hear the presenters or other participants, you can adjust the volume of the session by sliding the toggle next speaker icon. If you are still encountering any problems with speaker or microphone quality during session, you can at any time rerun the Audio Setup Wizard.

5 Features to use during meeting:
If you have a question during the meeting and want to send it by text, type your message in the chat box and click Send. Your message can be viewed by all participants. To send a private message to the moderator, click on their name in the participant list.

6 Features to use during meeting:
In the large group sessions it is advised that participants not share video. In the smaller sessions you may choose to share video. To activate your video click on the web camera icon in top horizontal navigation and choose Start My Webcam. The video window can be moved anywhere on your desktop by dragging the window by the blue Video bar.
