I am curious about my emotions. I find words to describe my emotions. I observe my thoughts without being caught up in them. I notice my emotions without reacting to them. I am kind to myself when things go wrong for me.

Mindfully speaking When I participate in a conversation:
I act to balance the amount of time I talk When I have been speaking too long I wind up my talking turn Before speaking I pause to make sure the previous speaker has finished As I speak I monitor others’ emotions As I speak I monitor my emotions
