Rhetorical Devices:
Task #2: Choose ONE speech on which to focus; request paper copy and begin to annotate for rhetorical appeals and devices (see directions)
First – Ethos/Pathos/Logos (color code & identify specific text)
Then – Specific rhetorical devices (minimum of 5 different ones) – annotate and pull out specific quotes of text

3. In class on Wed, November 2
Rhetorical Devices:
FINISH Task #2: Annotate for rhetorical appeals and devices (see directions)
