6. Richard A. Lewis, M.D. is the former director of glaucoma at the University of California, Davis before co-founding Sacramento Eye Consultants. He is the past President of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (2014–15) and past President of the American Glaucoma Society (2000–02). Dr Lewis has published over 100 articles and book chapters focusing on glaucoma, ophthalmic surgery, and ophthalmic pharmacology.
