Hours of Operation 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Before and after school use permitted with a pass. Lunch use permitted with a pass. Request a permanent pass at the circulation desk.

POLICIES Check-out Time Limitations No fines for overdue materials
Books -- 2 weeks No fines for overdue materials Lost books and damaged items are charged. Unless accompanied by a teacher, you MUST have an official pass. Slips of paper will not be accepted.

Do’s and Don’ts DO Type in your ID number at the computer on the circulation desk when coming in on a pass. Bring all needed materials. Bring your food/drinks into the CENTER section only. Do CLEAN up after yourself. DO read for pleasure and fun. It relaxes your brain and builds vocabulary.

Don’ts….. DON’T Bring your Food, Gum, and Drinks
in the computer areas. --Take a look under your table. EEEYYYEEEWWW DON’T be loud. Other people are working too. Be respectful. DON’T go to “inappropriate” sites on school computers……. Disclaimer Using the Internet is a privilege. Misusing it will result in your not being allowed to access the Internet using library computers. The Internet is a vast network of interlinked computers containing large amounts of information on myriad subjects. Some of these subjects are based on adult content and should not be accessed. Students at Molina are placed on the honor system about following the District’s acceptable use policy.

Home access Placing a Hold Find a book you would like to have. Select the Hold Request feature Type in your ID as the User ID and the last 4 digits of your ID as the password.

Electronic Resources EBSCOHost – a newpaper and periodical index with full text articles, pictures, and radio and TV transcripts Gale – a compilation of databases including Literature Resource Center and Student Gold Resource Center World Book Online – database with access to World Book Encyclopedia, Spanish encyclopedia, and 8 research modules

Other databases- Molina High School Library Webpage: You will find the links to all the databases. To use these outside a Dallas ISD school, you need your EAD username and password. To use the library PAC, you need your ID number.
