2. Objective
To bring together wood and cork knowledge as potential construction materials.
To develop new, durable and eco-friendly engineered products.

3. Technological solutions
Wood from pine, oak and eucalyptus.
Expanded cork agglomerates.
All materials are natural and recyclable enabling this solutions with a favourable ecological footprint.
The practical work was developed at CEF, under the Research Group ForTec (Forest products and biorefineries), and within the Research Areas “Wood knowledge and product innovation” and “Cork chain and non-wood forest products”.
