with QUALITY sentences.

Back to the basics---- A sentence is a group of words that expresses
a complete thought.

A sentence must have a subject and a verb.

A sentence begins with a capital letter and
ends with the proper punctuation.

Any punctuation required within the sentence
must be properly placed. **The writer must know the rules for commas.

Tina thinks the sauce her mother makes from scratch is better than Ragu. 6. Since he practiced throwing a curve ball for nearly six weeks, Jake’s coach let him pitch. 7. When Parker fished with his uncle, they cooked any fish they caught. 8. Marisol’s puppy likes napping under the couch because it is warm and cozy.
