Famous author Ernest Hemmingway was very minimal in style. He once told F. Scott Fitzgerald, another famous writer, “To every 1 page of genius, I write 99 pages of sh!t”.

Over the course of his career he discussed the concept of ‘Flash Fiction’ Flash Fiction is a style using roughly 500 words to tell a story; it is frank, fast, and to the point. This style is a type of minimalism, in which the goal is “maximum expression with a minimum of means”
