1 Pyramic® & Solex® Systems

2 Pyramic Base Coat Tinted Base Coat
Ensures Contractor Applies Coating at Proper Coverage Rates By Visually Identifying Where The Finish Coat Needs To Be Applied Heavier

3 Pyramic Cool Roof Coatings Bleed Blocking Properties
Help Reduce Building Energy Costs Provide UV Protection for Membrane System Extend the Life Cycle of the Waterproofing Membrane Bleed Blocking Properties Prevents Asphalt Oils From Discoloring Top Coat Ensuring White Reflective Roof Surfacing

4 Solex Benefits of Solex Excellent Stain Resistance
Excellent Color Stability Highly Reflective Surfacing (SRI 114) Durable Kynar® Aquatec Resin Solar Reflective Index (SRI) LEED® Min 78 Pyramic 106 Solex 114

5 Surface Preparation The Surface Must Be Clean, Sound, Dry and Free of Any Materials That Would Inhibit Proper Adhesion of The Coating. To Achieve a Suitable Surface, Prior To The Application of The Coating, The Use of INDUSTRIAL CLEANER, Scraping, Power Booming, Vacuuming or Other Means May Be Required. Cleaning Should Always Be Performed Observing Responsible Trade Practices and Cleaner Residue From Incomplete Rinsing of Low Lying Areas Should Be Avoided. In Any Case, Any Existence of Talc or Other Separator Agents on The Roofing Surface Is Not Acceptable.

6 Features & Benefits Increased Reflectivity Fire Resistant/Fire Rating*
Protects Against UV Exposure and Premature Aging Of Membrane Reduces Roof Degradation Provides Additional Energy Savings Fire Resistant/Fire Rating* Meets ASTM E 108 Class A At 2:12 Slope For: Gallon of Pyramic With ½ Gallon Top Coat of Solex Meets ASTM E 108 Class A At 1:12 Slope For: Gallon of Pyramic With Gallon Top Coat of Pyramic Meets ASTM E 108 Class A At 1:12 Slope For: Gallon of Pyramic Base Coat With Gallon Top Coat of Pyramic and/or Solex FM Approvals* Approved Over All Garland Hot Asphalt, Weatherking, Green-Lock and Torch Systems, For Solex and Pyramic Systems, As A Coating System Low Odor Pyramic Base Coat < 50 g/l VOC Content Pyramic < 50 g/l VOC Content Solex < 50 g/l VOC Content Approval Note: Approvals Are Specific To Construction Design and Products Contained In The Assembly Please Contact Your Local Garland Technical Representative For Project Specific Approvals.
