I finished high school last year Past actions with time reference. I went to the cinema last weekend Past actions that happened in the past with no present result. I met Charlie Habitual and repeated actions in the past. I went to the gym everyday during my holidays

HOW TO FORM IT AFFIRMATIVE STATEMENTS: SUBJECT + VERB IN THE PAST
NEGATIVE STATEMENTS: SUBJECT + DIDN’T + VERB IN THE INFINITIVE INTERROGATIVE STATEMENTS: Yes / No questions: DID + SUBJECT + VERB IN THE INFINITIVE? Yes, subject did / No, subject didn’t WH questions: WH… + DID + SUBJECT + VERB IN THE INFINITIVE

VERBS IN THE PAST REGULAR VERBS You form it by adding ED / D / IED to the infinitive verb Played – watched – enjoyed – studied…. IRREGULAR VERBS You need to change them. You find them in an irregluar verbs list. 2nd column Go went – Do done
