B.Y.O.D. PARENT NIGHT -- Mon., Sept. 12, 5:15 – 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Fulton’s rd Grade Leaders Pin this to your fridge so you know what’s going on! September 12, 2016 ~~ SPECIAL NEWS AND NOTES ~~ Special News & Notes B.Y.O.D. PARENT NIGHT -- Mon., Sept. 12, 5:15 – 6:00 p.m. B.Y.O.D. stands for Bring Your Own Device. This is an opportunity for students to bring a device from home to use at school. Having these devices can enhance a student’s education by connecting them with tutorials to reinforce instruction in the classroom and allowing them to access engaging activities that encourage them to learn more. Here are a couple things I would want to know about B.Y.O.D. if I were a parent: Student devices are connected to the Lake County Schools internet, with it’s stringent student restrictions. Students use the devices for specific activities or assignments only. Students do not use other students’ devices. Students do not have to bring a device. Please plan to attend Monday night for more information. PROGRESS REPORTS -- Progress Reports will be sent home this Monday, September 12. Please keep the Progress Report at home, but sign the envelope and return it to school on Tuesday. Thank you!
