Hello everyone, and welcome back to a new school year! A little about me… This is my 28th year in education and my 15th at Millcreek. I am married and live in Park City. I am a proud mother of 2 amazing young adults, AND a very proud grandmother to a beautiful 2.5 year old grandson. I am an animal lover with 2 dogs and 3 cats. I enjoy camping, boating, fishing, golf, travel, and any time I can get with my grandson.

12 Physical Education 7th, 8th and 9th grade

13 7th Grade Physical Education
* Focus on skill development, game vocabulary, and rules of play. * Team play and sportsmanship are important aspects of each class and activity. * Understand the importance of fitness/physical activity, and implement it in each class. * There will be homework and a written test for each unit. Study guides are available to help with test preparation. * A FITT portfolio is required of each student. The papers needed can be found on my web page under FITT papers. Make sure to print off the papers for 7th grade. Place the papers in a binder (butterfly clasps, not rings, please).

14 8th grade Physical Education
* Focus on Understanding and implementing the aspects of game creation. * Team play and sportsmanship are important aspects of each class and activity. * Understand the importance of fitness/physical activity, and implement it in each class. * Each student will ‘teach’ a game they have created according to the lesson plan rubric found on my web page. * A FITT portfolio is required of each student. The papers needed can be found on my web page under FITT papers. Make sure to print off the papers for 7th grade. Place the papers in a binder (butterfly clasps, not rings, please).

15 9th grade physical education

16 Volleyball class * You will learn basic, intermediate, and advanced skills needed to competitively play the game of volleyball. * Skill development will be integrated into small team games, regulation team play, and round robin tournaments. * Participation is key. * General Physical Education rules and expectations will apply.

17 Basics for physical education
* Dress and participate every day. * Always show sportsmanship and fair play.

18 Basics for physical education
* Wear proper exercise clothing. A Millcreek PE uniform can be purchased in the front office. Proper athletic shoes, and socks are also needed. *You can bring your own athletic wear. The shirt must be black, gray, or white with no logos or pictures, and with a crew neck (no V-neck or scoop neck). Shorts must be primarily black, dress code length, NO pockets. Shoes must be athletic in style with laces, heal cushion, and arch support. Shirt: $13.00 Shorts: $10.00

19 Basics for physical education
* Absences need to be made up by using an absent make up form found on my web page or on the bulletin board by my office.

*Please leave cell phones off and in your locker.
