1. Right-click your mouse on the desktop in the wallpaper area - not on any icon or any object.

2. You will get a menu as displayed on screen.

Picture 1. Move the mouse cursor over the menu, and click on ‘Refresh’. Picture 2. Then move the mouse cursor and choose the ‘Properties’ option.

4. When you click the ‘Properties’ option, a window titled ‘Display Properties’ will open on your screen.
Go to the ‘Settings’ tab and click on it.

5. When you click the Settings tab, you will see a bar with a tab below it in the section titled Screen Resolution.
Drag it till you reach a setting of 800 by 600 pixels, as indicated below the bar.
Click ‘Apply’
The screen may go black for a second, as the monitor adjusts to the setting.
Now click ‘OK’.
Your Screen Resolution has been set to 800 X 600 pixels.
