6. About whom are we speaking?
Obviously Jim Brubaker has done many thing well.
A part of what we do here today is to remember those things and show our thanks for his many years of selfless service in God’s Kingdome.
We also give thanks and praise to Almighty God for His gifts and mercies.
We especially give thanks for Christ who has done all things well!

Jesus took him aside, …and put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue. He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, “Ephphatha!” (which means, “Be opened!”). At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly.
