Notes We are allocated £15k from SS Notes National Team are self funding

Thanks to Katie for putting our financial situation back in order There is additional spend in the Development budget Similar £15k contribution from SS in 2017 Scottish Cup Finals day made net contribution Pool utilisation has improved with appointment of Pool Co-ordinator, but sill too many sessions being un-used – and paid for.

Held Dundee Olympia on 26/6/16 Under 16 Mixed Warrender BC 14 - 9 Dunfermline WPC Under 19 Girls Under 21 Boys 7 - 4 Menzieshill WPC Ladies 13 - 7 Menzieshill Whitehall S&WPC Men Portobello ASC 15 - 6 Held Dunfermline on 05/11/16 Under 18 Boys 24 - 4 Presentation of pennants

Scottish Cup 2017 Draw pre-Xmas break Finals day Sunday 23rd April, Olympia Dundee All semi-finals to be completed by April 1st All prelims to be completed by March 1st Entry form to be returned by December 5th to allow draw to take place Entry Fees as 2016

Scottish League Problems with senior & boys U18 games being played. Too many conflicts. Is full schedule too ambitious? Are we running a girls league? How has the league co-ordinators position worked? Do we change from this year? Set player registration fees

Report on 2016 Development Plan 2016 – 2021 What is going to happen in 2017

12 National Teams Girls Report –
Joan Dundee, Team Manager Roddy Hardy, Head Coach Report on 2016 A 50% increase in the number of girls attending the Scotland Junior Training Sessions. encouraging to see more young players coming through provides a greater chance for development and competition. The U19 and U17 National Age Group Teams, entered as Caledonia, both finished the Plate competition with Bronze medals. 7 Tournament North Sea Cup, Dublin – National Squad National Age Groups – U19, U17 and U15 – Caledonia Inter Regions – U18 and U14 BWMF Cup, Spain – 2001+

13 National Teams Girls Report –
Joan Dundee, Team Manager Roddy Hardy, Head Coach 2. Plans for 2017 continue to grow the squads across all age groups enter teams into Inter Regions and National Age Group competitions prepare a National Team for the North Sea Cup 3. Future Plans to set targets for the girls to work towards to work closer with club coaches to increase training opportunities to set up opportunities to visit clubs in England for training

14 Brian Campbell Head Coach ???, Team Manager
National Teams Boys Report – Brian Campbell Head Coach ???, Team Manager 2016 2017 Boys squad membership circa 65 with ages from Currently recruiting age Teams selected from Boys squad members only. Circa 50 athletes have enjoyed International exposure in Austria, Hungary, Spain, Ireland and Lithuania. Ages rotate to 2000+; & Clubs should seek to improve fitness, basic skills and a ‘no mistake’ culture. Volunteer coaches welcome to join the staff team.

15 National Teams Women's Report –
Debbie McRobbie Team Manager Neal Rayner, Head Coach 2016 EU Nations, Czech In June – Placed 7th NSC, Aberdeen in September – Placed 1st 2017 Training weekend Ireland or another Team EU Nations in July, NSC- no details yet Future Develop squad and pathway Continue to invite new players to trial at our training sessions & hold an open session for players interested in being selected Clubs can help by putting forward senior players who are eligible. QUESTION – WHO OWNS THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN?

Ian Melville Team Manager Ramon Valvona, Head Coach 2016 Malta, Re-organisation  NSC, Training schedule 2017 Denmark trip, EU Nations, SA Future Squad rebuild and pathway QUESTION – WHO OWNS THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN?

17 National Teams North Sea Cup – Gael Logan
2016 Successfully hosted the senior event at Aberdeen Sports Village September. Issues arose with late team withdrawals, (Denmark and Ireland men), replacements were brought in to maintain 4 team events Scotland won Men and Women competitions 2. Plan for ??? QUESTION – WHO OWNS THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN?

18 National Teams GBR Update - Alan
Report on 2016 Established a GBR Management Group Domestically, British Championships U17, U19 National Teams working to LEN Euro Champs In 2016, 1997 men did not qualify, 1997 women qualified finished 9th, Hannah Edwards only Scottish representatives Heavily dependent \ led by ASA Working to resolve HC Nationalities statement Plan for 2017 More representation in ;99 & ‘00 squads Similar British Champs QUESTION – WHO OWNS THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN?

Report on 2016 Problems in this area for much of 2016 Neal Rayner, supported by Ross Elder have picked up in recent weeks. Richie Metcalf organised ED table officials Plan for 2017 Volunteers?
