Second class lever Move fulcrum to hole 2, counter weight to hole 16 and your hand at hole 25 Have each team member lift the counter weight How is a second class lever different from a first class lever/ Calculate the IMA of the second class lever.

Third Class Lever Move fulcrum to hole 2, counter weight to hole 25 and your hand at hole 9 What makes this lever different from the others? Calculate the IMA. Out of all three levers which do you prefer? Why?

Wheel and Axle Pt 1 Using a string attach the weight to the axle, use your fingers to turn the wheel Each team member takes a turn turning the wheel Pt 2 using the string attach the weight to the wheel, use your fingers to turn the axle Calculate the IMA for both systems
