2. What is The Diana Award?
After her tragic death in 1997, The Diana Award was set up in 1999 to continue Princess Diana’s Legacy of love, compassion, service to others and above all her belief that young people can change the world. Young people from any background and any walk of life can be inspirational role models.
The Diana Award continues this legacy through three main programmes; Awards, Mentoring and Anti-Bullying. The Diana Award Anti-Bullying Ambassadors programme is built around the idea that everyone has the power to make someone feel good about themselves, look after others and speak out about issues that matter to them.
And of course The Diana Award Anti-Bullying Ambassador programme exists to help young people, schools and adults stop bullying!

4. What are Anti-Bullying Ambassadors?
Anti-Bullying Ambassadors are trained passionate young people who will stand up to bullying and believe they can change things for the better. Anti-Bullying Ambassadors believe that bullying is not a normal part of life. They support others and take a stand to shape attitudes and change behaviours. They are a pillar of support, look out for others and a strong youth voice for the school community.
Alex Holmes, Head of Campaigns & Development, had a dream at 16 to see people stand together against bullying after suffering his own bullying experience! He is the guy responsible for starting up the Anti-Bullying Ambassador initiative.

5. Where can you find your Anti-Bullying Ambassadors?
Your school’s Anti-Bullying Ambassadors will be noticeable by the big blue ‘A’ they wear. You will also be able to find them on your school Anti- Bullying notice board.
If you have an Anti-Bullying room or drop in session time this would also be some good information to add! You can also add pictures of yourself to this slide!

6. Why we are Anti-Bullying Ambassadors?
