2 Who said it? Pablo Picasso was a Spanish artist considered the greatest artist of the 20th Century. He created around 22,000 pieces of art during his lifetime. Pablo Picasso was most famous for his painting but he also took part in lots of different kinds of art. He created pottery, sculpture and stage designs. He went through many different phases in which he experimented with techniques and styles.
