Use the data set to compute: Quartile 1 Quartile 3 IQR Lower fence Upper fence Construct a box-and-whisker plot using the answers form the previous questions. Remember: IQR = Q3 –Q1 LF= Q1 – (IQE * 1.5) UF= Q3 + (IQR * 1.5)

KEY TERMS Standard Deviation is the measure of how spread out the data is from the mean. Normal Distribution is a collection of many data points that form a bell-shaped curve

Standard Deviation A lower standard deviation represent a data that are more tightly clustered. A higher standard deviation represents data that are more spread out from the mean.
