If you’re interested in joining ASB -Freshmen officers elected in October -You may run for following offices: Freshman President Freshman Vice-President Freshman Treasurer Freshman Secretary * Class Officers are required to take Leadership class which will be placed on your schedule if you are elected.

Your Guide for Freshman Registration
Your Goal is to earn 24 credits (*must take specific classes to graduate from KSD and to qualify for College admission) 6 classes/ each year x 4 years = a chance to earn 24 credits - this means you need to pass EVERY class to graduation on time! Sem 1 Sem 2 .5 cr A-D grade/ 0=F .5 cr A-D grade/ 0=F 3.O possible semester possible semester = 6 possible credits per year Required credits are broken down into specific areas and requirements.....

Classes you need to choose freshman year
1 year of English 9 – CORE or HONORS 1 year of World Studies – CORE or HONORS 1 year of Science Integrated Science 3/4 1 year of Math (See progression) 1 year of World Language (if you have C’s or higher in your classes) or Electives / Fine Art or Occ. Ed. 1 Semester of Health Class Intro to Algebra/ Pre Alg or 8th grade math Algebra Geometry Algebra 3-4

Students choosing honors or math above Algebra need subject teacher(s) approval Select 1.5 credits from outside the grey box.
