4 Meeting Minutes (Friday 24 April)
Earthquake The team is looking at 5 potential locations for IDP camp, in consultation with BNPD and BPDB and the displacement working group. SPHERE standards, Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) and broader protection issues. In addition, the group needs to consider the parameters of the camps: how many people, where, for how long, who will manage the camp, exist strategy, what services will be provided at the camps and by whom. Radiation The group is working on a timely evacuation and relocation plan and considering supported handover of the IDP camp to Government and NGOs 3/4 Ws (WHO does WHAT WHERE) to be developed and shared on a regular basis NGOs will not have these specific technical expertise working with radiation, however some NGOs will be operating in the evacuation zone and the group should consider collaborating with these. Question for the TNI: Airport is in temporary exclusion areas, what happens if we need to go to the mandatory level? Volcano Questions related to infrastructure of roads, how can we transport people and looking at locations for relocation. The team are also considering the radiation issue. More information for TNI, where should people be evacuated to, and what NGOs can assist It is recommended that all groups cross reference with other groups, to ensure responses are compatible and augmented. BNPB In conclusion, BNPB urges all foreign military should provide assistance through the indirect methodology. Also recommend that groups works with the National Cluster System

5 Emergency Preparedness and Environmental Emergencies
The Joint United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)/OCHA Environment Unit (JEU), helps Member States to prepare for and respond to environmental emergencies. In the first hours after an environmental emergency, the JEU can mobilize experts and equipment, such as mobile laboratories, to the affected area. These teams conduct rapid assessments, test for the presence of hazardous materials, analyze the possible impacts on communities, and help national authorities develop strategies to respond.

Indirect Assistance: Transportation /logistics assistance to remote or inaccessible areas; Warehouse space near logistics hubs Infrastructure Support: Reopening of major highways damaged in the EQ, especially from Adisupjipto and Adisumarmo airports to populated areas Reopening of the railway line through the affected areas Repair of damage to Adisutjipto International Airport Structural engineers to assess the structural integrity of schools and education facilities Debris removal equipment for clearing of roadways Air freight handling equipment
