2 Timeline of Old Testament Prophets
Seeds of revival Kept revival going

3 God Will Deliver Israel

4 God Will Cleanse Israel

5

6 A Revived Nation

7 “On that day a fountain will be opened for the dynasty of David and for the people of Jerusalem, a fountain to cleanse them from all their sins and impurity.

8 Leviticus 17:11 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’

9 33…this is the covenant that I will make
Jeremiah 31:33-34 33…this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

10 34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor,
and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”

11 2 “And on that day,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will erase idol worship throughout the land, so that even the names of the idols will be forgotten.

12 I will remove from the land both the false prophets and the spirit of impurity that came with them.

13 No one will pretend to be a prophet
by wearing prophet’s clothes. 5 He will say, ‘I’m no prophet; I’m a farmer. I began working for a farmer as a boy.’

14 I was wounded at My friends’ house!’
6 And if someone asks, ‘Then what about those wounds on Your chest?’ He will say, ‘ I was wounded at My friends’ house!’

15

16 7 “Awake, O sword, against My shepherd, the man who is My partner
[My Equal; of My union,”]     says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

17 “Strike down the shepherd,     and the sheep will be scattered,     and I will turn against the lambs.

18 A Revived Nation A Refined Nation

19 8 Two-thirds of the people in the land     will be cut off and die,” says the Lord.     “But one-third will be left in the land.

20 9 I will bring that group through the fire and make them pure
9 I will bring that group through the fire     and make them pure. I will refine them like silver and purify them like gold.

21 They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say,
‘These are My people,’     and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’”

22

23 14 1Watch, for the day of the Lord is coming when your possessions will be plundered
right in front of you!

24 A Revived Nation A Refined Nation A Rescued Remnant

25 2 I will gather all the nations to fight against Jerusalem
2 I will gather all the nations to fight against Jerusalem. The city will be taken, the houses looted, and the women raped. Half the population will be taken into captivity, and the rest will be left among the ruins of the city.

26 3 Then the Lord will go out to fight against those nations, as He has fought
in times past.

27 and half toward the south.
4 On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem. And the Mount of Olives will split apart, making a wide valley running from east to west. Half the mountain will move toward the north and half toward the south.

28

29 5 You will flee through this valley, for it will reach across to Azal
5 You will flee through this valley, for it will reach across to Azal. Yes, you will flee as you did from the earthquake in the days of King Uzziah of Judah.

30 A Revived Nation A Refined Nation A Rescued Remnant A Reigning Messiah

31 5bThen the Lord my God will come, and all His holy ones with Him.

32 6 On that day the sources of light will
no longer shine, 7 yet there will be continuous day! Only the Lord knows how this could happen. There will be no normal day and night, for at evening time it will still be light.

33 A Revived Nation A Refined Nation A Rescued Remnant A Reigning Messiah A Reclaimed Land

34 8 On that day life-giving waters will flow out from Jerusalem, half toward the Dead Sea and half toward the Mediterranean, flowing continuously in both summer and winter.

35 9 And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day there
will be one Lord—His name alone will be worshiped.

36 A topography revamped

37

38 Benjamin Gate (?) Corner Gate (?) King’s Winepress (?)

39 10 All the land from Geba, north of Judah, to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become one vast plain. But Jerusalem will be raised up in its original place

40 and will be inhabited all the way from the Benjamin Gate over to the site of the old gate, then to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.

41 A topography revamped Dangers removed

42 11 And Jerusalem will be filled, safe at last, never again to be cursed and destroyed. 12 And the Lord will send a plague on all the nations that fought against Jerusalem.

43 15 This same plague will strike the horses, mules, camels, donkeys, and all the other animals in the enemy camps.

44 A topography revamped Dangers removed Gentiles will revere the LORD God

45 16 In the end, the enemies of Jerusalem who survive the plague will go up to Jerusalem each year to worship the King, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, and to celebrate the Festival of Shelters.

46 A topography revamped Dangers removed Gentiles will revere the LORD God Justice will be restored

47 17 Any nation in the world that refuses
to come to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, will have no rain…

48 19 Egypt and the other nations will all
be punished if they don’t go to celebrate the Festival of Shelters.

49 A topography revamped Dangers removed Gentiles will revere the LORD God Justice will be restored Holiness will reign

50 20 On that day even the harness bells
of the horses will be inscribed with these words: Holy to the lord.

51 And the cooking pots in the Temple of the Lord will be as sacred as the basins used beside the altar.

52 . 21 In fact, every cooking pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. All who come to worship will be free to use any of these pots to boil their sacrifices.

53 [serving] in the house of the Lord Almighty.
And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite (hypocrite; unbeliever) [serving] in the house of the Lord Almighty.

54 What Next? 23…there were many priests, because they
Hebrews 7:23-25 23…there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing. 24 But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.

55 What Next? 25 Therefore He is also able to save
to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

56 In Remembrance of Me

57 When this poor, lisping, stamm’ring tongue Lies silent in the grave, Then in a nobler, sweeter song, I’ll sing Thy pow’r to save:

58 I’ll sing Thy pow’r to save
I’ll sing Thy pow’r to save Then in a nobler, sweeter song, I’ll sing Thy pow’r to save.

59

60 May your whole spirit, soul and body
23 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5
