More notice for events and trips/better communication x7

7. What could we do to improve?
More detailed marking of homework. Why is my child’s work good?
More flexible timetables (maths and English mornings in KS1)
Class awards at the end of term for a wider range of categories
Signs for where pupils should line up?
Tell pupils the importance of being on time for school
What is FOB money spent on?
Can pupils be benchmarked quicker?
Advanced warning of class swap over day
Create alternative dates for cancelled events
Spread out home work (already 5 nights to complete it)
Job share teachers both at parents’ evenings
New report format for SEN pupils (planned for summer 2017)
More challenge for pupils in class (there will have to be !)

8. School Results in 2016
The results of SATs tests taken in primary schools in England in 2016, should not be compared with previous years
The tests have been made tougher and lower results should not be interpreted as a decline in performance by pupils.
