Hi! My name is Kaylee , I’m 12 years old . I am in Mrs.Tedeschi’s 6th grade literacy class . Some of my hobbies are basketball and cheerleading! I also love football. My favorite team is the New England Patriots ! My favorite subject in school is Literacy. I am now in the choir too . In my spare time I like to watch Netflix and YouTube and play with my dogs Buddy And Cali ! I also enjoy to hang out with my friends.

12. The Westing Game
I read the book called The Westing Game. Personally I was not a huge fan of this book . Eventually it got kind of boring. Its a great written book its just not my kind of genre. So if you like mystery books this book is for you ! In the end it turns out to be something different then you think. This book will have your mind twisted and confused.

13. Connect The Stars
I read Connect The Stars during the 2nd nine weeks . I think this book is GREAT.I loved how Audrey promised herself should wouldn’t make any friends at her camp but ends up becoming great friends with 3 very interesting people. My favorite character was Audrey. She Is very unique in her own ways. I also like her because she is kind caring and determined. I defiantly recommend this book to you.

14. We Fought Back
I read we fought back . This book is about the Holocaust. In this book boys deciding that they want to fight back against Hitler. Personally I'm not a fan of this book because its kind of boring. It’s a good book but it kind of drags on.

15. Tracker
This is a story about a boy named John and how a disease and a doe could possibly change his life. In the story Johns grandpa is dying of cancer. Which means John lost his hunting buddy and his best friend. When hunting season comes around John sees a doe and falls in love with it he tracked her for four day to uncover a little surprise. I personally really enjoyed this book and would for sure recommend it to everyone!

17. On My Honor
In class we read On My Honor by . In this book two boys named Tony and Joel . Tony was a typical boy. He loved to dangerous things. Him and Joel where neighbors and hung out everyday . So one day in the summer Tony had a genius idea to ride their bikes to starved rock . Starved Rock is a state park where they lived . But on their way they came a crossed a river and Tony wanted to go for a swim. The river was really gross and dirty . Joel did not want Tony or himself to swim but Tony called him a baby and they got in a fight. Then Joel dared Tony to go swimming. But when Joel took it to far knowing that Tony couldn’t swim very good he dared him to swim to the sand bar. But when Joel swam to the bar and turned around and didn’t see Tony . He knew Tony was just hiding and it turned out he wasn’t. After Joel went home the parents eventually knew what happened and Tony had drowned in the river.

In class we read The Cay this book is by . The story takes place during the world war two. The main character is Phillip. Phillip’s dad worked in . So that’s where they lived . But they where originally from Virginia . Because of the war Mrs. Enright (Phillip's mom) didn’t want to stay there and go back to Virginia . The only problem was is that she hate flying so they would have to take a boat and there where German submarines surrounded the island . So the day came to leave . Once Phillip and Mrs. Enright left the island on the boat all was well until they got torpedoed . The boat was tipping and Mrs. Enright and Phillip attempted to get on a life boat. But before Phillip on the life raft the boat got torpedoed again. Phillip fell and hit his head on a rock. He passed out. When he woke up he was on a life raft in the middle of the ocean all alone with a large black man named timothy . Timothy spotted a island and they went and settled there . They thought they heard a airplane a few times but it never came to rescue them. But one day Phillip got recued by a boat.

19. Island Of The Blue Dolphins
In class we read Island of the Blue Dolphins the story started out as a tribe of people living on a island but when the Aleuts attack everything changed. A leader of the island sends boats to get the rest of his people and bring them to this new strange country. But little did Ramo and Karana know they would be stranded! Once Ramo gets killed. Kararna is on a island by her self. Will she survive?
