3 About me Immigrated to Canada from Pakistan in Studied and graduated from Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute (MGCI) in 2016. Currently studying engineering at the University of Toronto.

4 Extra Curriculars Over 500 volunteer hours.
Part of 5 high-school sports teams. Rubik’s Cubing, Chess, MIST, Quaid-e-Azam awards University of Toronto Aerospace Team (UTAT) Spaceport America Cup 2017, New Mexico, USA Structures Lead, Rocketry Division, UTAT

5 Motivation behind the company
Misinformed and misguided during my first few weeks in high-school. TOPS program at MGCI. MGCI is at 131% capacity and many of these students are new immigrants. Consequences?

6 Challenges to overcome
Adjusting to the enormous course load in University. My peers from TOPS, flying through courses. My experience mirrors the worst case scenario possible due to my program of study.

Designed to help new immigrant high-school students.

9 Objectives Business Objectives Marketing Objectives
Financial Objectives BUSINESS OBJECTIVES To become a focused company aimed at improving the experience of students. Have staff consisting entirely of students with knowledge in certain areas, who complement each other’s skills. MARKETING OBJECTIVES Establish awareness of the service through focused marketing. Focus on target marketing to increase market integration. Expand target market using controlled growth. FINANCIAL OBJECTIVES Keep the cost of starting the business relatively low with all the money being earned and/or donated to be used towards the business in all circumstances. Have no cost associated with the service being provided and operate as a Non-for-Profit (NFO) organization.

Scholarships/Awards Volunteer/Summer Job Point to Note: Though my motivation was educational I expanded my services to cover all the issues that may be experienced.

11 How exactly does the service work?
I am contacted by a potential client and set up a meeting time (client maybe a parent or student) We discuss the issue and I take details into account. I then do my research and talk with my contacts as well as visit /call high-schools to get the most up to date information as possible. I meet with the client again and pass on the information to them and let them know what would be their best way forward.

12 What is different about me?
The company is non-for-profit so my clients are not charged. I volunteer my time for others and my revenue is in the form of donations. I have been through the system and have been affected by it. All the services offered by me are ones I have done on my own and succeeded in doing them. As a bonus, I can greatly help students’ interested in aerospace, space and engineering. 13 My Support I have been supported by the YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SERVICES (YES) and through their program I received monetary help to kick- start this business. I have received support from my peers in university as well from high- school who are willing to volunteer their time. I would like to thank God, my parents, sister, teachers, friends and community for their faith in me.
