Whose job is it to serve people with disabilities in America’s Job Centers?
Well, I know it’s not my job! It’s the job of that person who has “disability” in their title. It’s everyone’s job.

Wrong… Please try again… While there are staff in the Job Center who
serve targeted populations, people with disabilities are represented in ALL populations (e.g. Veterans, Youth, Older Workers, Dislocated Workers, TANF, People with Criminal Background Histories, etc…). It is the job of every staff member at the Job Center to serve people with disabilities. This isn’t the correct answer to the question. Please try again…
4
Wrong… Please try again! You must be thinking of the Disability
Resource Coordinator (DRC)! While it is not the DRC’s job to meet with every customer with a disability that comes into the Job Center, one of the roles of the DRC is to provide resources to staff in order to help identify additional programs and services the customer may benefit from, if needed. Remember, it is the job of every staff member at the Job Center to serve people with disabilities. There is a better answer though… Please try again!
