3. Current Resources Why is Health different?
Resources: Figure 2 shows the number of ICT staff as a Ratio to Total Staff. There is one IT person supporting 236 non-IT people in the HSE. If we compare this to other government departments such as Revenue it can be seen that they have substantially more resources in this area. There is one IT person supporting eleven non-IT people. In Social Welfare and Agriculture they both have one IT person for every seventeen non-IT people that they are supporting.
