Current Resources Why is Health different?
Resources: Figure 2 shows the number of ICT staff as a Ratio to Total Staff. There is one IT person supporting 236 non-IT people in the HSE. If we compare this to other government departments such as Revenue it can be seen that they have substantially more resources in this area. There is one IT person supporting eleven non-IT people. In Social Welfare and Agriculture they both have one IT person for every seventeen non-IT people that they are supporting. Why is Health different? How to bring Health and Wealth? How can Health IT be seen as an investment?

Projects - Success The IHI will use personal data to accurately identify a specific individual, this data will include;

Projects – End 2016 Replace or create all (17) maternity hospital systems Go live Cork 22nd - October, Kerry - 26th November Replace 75 current systems 10th December is Go live at St James Complete implementation by Q4 2019 47,000 new digital identities and an additional 10,000 staff given access to a digital device by Dec 2016 Ireland is now the first EU member state to have a Cloud First Policy in Health
