ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
  Under the aegis of our Honourable Chairman, (Late) Col. Dr. Jeppiaar, Jeppiaar Engineering College was inaugurated on 15th August 2001 as one of the spearheading institutions of Jeppiaar Educational Trust. The boundless energy of Dr. Regeena M Jeppiaar, Managing Director and Dr. G. Sathiyabama, Principal, are the source of inspiration to our students. Jeppiaar Engineering college is affiliated to Anna University and in the short period it has grown into an Institution that provides excellent technical education while keeping the overall growth and development of the students in mind.
 ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The workshop on “Soft Computing techniques in Engineering and Technology“ on 11th & 12th August 2016 is organized by CENTRE FOR RESEARCH, Post Graduate Departments, Jeppiaar Engineering College, Chennai. The main aim of the workshop is to provide a platform for the research workers to expose their ideas in the field of Power Electronics, VLSI Design, Computer Science, Mechatronics and Bio-Technology. All the post graduate department is enriched with latest lap equipment and promotes R&D activities in related areas in collaboration with industries, wherever possible. The faculty members are well experienced and dedicated towards the upliftment of the student community.
