5 Disassembling Process
// This is a picture Before We disassemble This Controller //

6 // We used a screw driver to take apart the controller //

7 // Then, we pulled the mother board out the controller and later on snapped it taking off the joysticks //

8 //We pulled each piece off the motherboard with little force //

9 // We pulled the joysticks off the motherboard with force, and the bumper just fell off the edge of the controller //

10 // We had to use a hammer and screw driver to pry the joystick holders out because they were attached to the motherboard and the dual shocks were just clip offs and then the joystick holders fell apart due to prying //

11 // On the motherboard The triggers sat and we pulled them off and disassembled them by pulling piece by piece //

12 // We pulled everything out off the inside of the controller and set them up //

13 // Now a wide view of all our pieces disassembled and nicely organized and every piece is in its category //

21 How do the various parts interact?
The products interact to each other by putting all the main parts inside the controller which allows it to work. For example, the home button interact to the mother board which allows it to go to the home screen of the console. Also, the mother board is attached to the body inside of the controller to hold all the parts together.

22 What are the good and bad features of the product?
The bad features about the controller is you have to use batteries, also the button gets stuck after a long period of time. Controller gets a uncomfortable feel after a while when using it. A con is that it cost the $11 dollars to manufacture a Xbox 360 controller, but they sell it for $50 dollars and I kinda believe that’s a rip off. Because your paying $39 extra dollars for a controller that cost $11. The good features of the controller is finding how the controller works and how it function. The body looks unique and its not to large and is portable. Its wireless comparted to other controllers. It connects to your pc if you’re a pc game player.

23 What caused the product to succeed or fail?
The Xbox 360 controller succeeded because the controller has a comfortable feel, a pleasing look, and great button placement. Also, the controller is a affordable price. The controller allows the user to connect a headset to communicate with other gamers, and it never failed on us because it’s a great product.

24 Are the materials that were used appropriate?
The screw on the battery pack, which is not necessary because we have like six different screws to hold it together. In my opinion its just useless, but everything else in the controller is fine and has a point in its nature.

25 What manufacturing process was used?
First they assemble the copper mother board, Then they place the acrylic button, also they place rubber on the joysticks. Finally they molded the casing and place it together. The buttons are made by placing them in a acrylic mold then filled and hardened to the specifications they want to fit the casing.

26 What is the estimated manufacturing cost to make a Xbox 360 controller
Xbox 360 wireless controller makes extremely portable margins for Microsoft as they cost $11 to manufacture but sell for $50 or more in stores.
