Bio for Chris Kalaf 3rd semester Freshman
Going into Computer Engineering This course has taught me how much fun it can be to work with robotics and that robots don’t seem to work when filming. This course has inspired me to get more involved with robotics. (MIL) My goals at UF are to get involved with a project in MIL and find research on campus to work with.

Bio for Chris Kalaf (Cont.)
I think it would be awesome to start my own company, but I would more realistically be content working for a large software company. Get involved early. Join a club or organization and go to the events because it will help you meet new people, break you out of your comfort zone, and find some awesome stuff to do on campus while you are here!

Bio for Eucebio Lopez 2nd semester Freshman
Came in as Mechanical/Electrical Engineer I learned about the different parts that make up an electrical system. The course has given me a quick glance at what I’ll be working with. I want to get an engineering degree and enjoy my time here. Someday I want to invent something, possibly something that could change people’s lives for the better. Get involved! Meet the right people! Focus and set priorities!

Bio for joao Gabriel I am a fourth year EE student.
In Brazil we mainly study power systems, so that is why I chose to take an initial Robotics class. It was a great experience, since I could see and learn a whole new side of EE. UF Plans/goals: Finish my abroad period here with good grades and networking, so I can possibly pursue a masters. Career: Work with Power systems engineering and later teach EE. Wisdom: Never give up: if someone can do it, you can do it as well.

The story of the Sanchez saucer
Grandpa, Rick Sanchez, was teaching his grandson, Morty, how to fly his flying saucer. Morty was not the best driver and almost runs into the walls multiple times, which Rick is not happy about. Morty also gets nervous by the end of the trip and plays one of the Star Wars theme songs.

Team conclusions We now have a better understanding of electrical systems and how they work. We want to urge you to get involved with any clubs or organizations on campus, it’s a great step toward finding projects to work with on campus.
