1 TOPIC – SENDING HELP FROM THE SANCTUARY: THRIVING (PART 2)
PASTOR ANDREW MORGRIDGE

2 Major things I told you last week
God’s solution to famine and getting help, even if you don’t “seem” to deserve help – the devil standing against you – is to be a friend of God.

3 (1) Mercy Seat – position of the Angels – covers everywhere
Since He is in the Sanctuary – using the Ark as basis you have to be there with Him to access the benefits in the Ark – (1) Mercy Seat – position of the Angels – covers everywhere (2) Miracles and God’s confirmation of His love for you in the rod that budded

4 (3)The Manna – God’s provision (4) The guidance and your control – the word of God. The girl who played with God. Who will you answer first? The one who loves you or the one who doesn’t care about you?

5 See Jam. 4:8; Lk. 11:5-10 (key word friend) Joel 2:32 (key word in Mount Zion)
Prevailing prayer vs Persistent prayer. Prayers from His presence – His leading – after enquiring vs “empty repetitions. Seen in Hab. 1-3; 2Sam. 21:1-14; 1Sam. 30

6 MOVING ON Anointed Wealth vs Prosperity Lk. 19: Mt. 25:14- both in Gk. Speaks of money, wealth and valuable goods to trade or bank with.

7 So in that dimension, Pastor Noel is correct, but I have seen another layer of Prosperity, that is above poverty. This is for anyone and everyone who cares to enter and stay in the Sanctuary. Psalm 35:27

8 THE WORD PROSPERITY HERE IS FROM THE HEBREW WORD SHALOM I.E
Completeness, soundness, welfare, peace Completeness (in number) Safety, soundness (in body) Welfare, health, prosperity

9 Peace, quiet, tranquillity, contentment
Peace, friendship Of human relationships With God especially in covenant relationship Peace (from war

10 Gen. 39:2,3&23. Here it means – STRONG’S DEFINITION A primitive root; to push forward, in various senses (literally or figuratively, transitively or intransitively): - break out, come (mightily), go over, be good, be meet, be profitable, (cause to, effect, make to, send) prosper (-ity,-ous,-ously).

11 Good things (collective) Good, benefit – Isa. 45:19
Deut. 23: 6 Here it means....good as in the widest sense; a good thing, benefit, welfare (noun masculine) Welfare, prosperity, happiness Good things (collective) Good, benefit – Isa. 45:19 prosperity, happiness bounty

12 Gen. 15:1 adds hire, wages, reward, fare
Gen. 15:1 adds hire, wages, reward, fare. Strong: Payment of salary, and contract, maintenance Num. 6:22-26 confirms and takes us into the dimension of thriving

13 FACE IS HIS PRESENCE Shine is to be illuminated – give guidance – show traps. Drive demons away. To kindle –light fire. ..so everybody is supposed to shine – it’s a blessing for all Israel. We are all supposed to reflect the glory of God.

14 So beyond faith, sowing seeds, patience and other things associated to receiving from God, there is now another element that causes life to come upon your ideas, the gifts of God in you and whatever you are doing to be productive – physically or spiritually – the face of God.

15 And it is when productivity or fruiting is sustained that you are Thriving. There are two definitions to Thriving in the 21st Century Chambers Dictionary: (1) To grow strong and healthy (2) To prosper or be successful, especially financially.

16 These definitions implies a process of time and a catalyst
These definitions implies a process of time and a catalyst. Growing strong and healthy requires the right environment: good food, exercises and rest, while to prosper or be successful requires the right environment as well: proper planning and good management skills. Deut. 8:18; Psalm 144:1; Joshua 1:8

17 The Face of God Numbers 6:25 Psalm 31:16; Psalm 80:3 – Vs. 7 Vs. 19
Dan. 9:17

18 I thought you only need faith and perhaps some other things to receive from God. Well, not according to the scriptures above. Moses, David, Israel in bondage, they all had faith and believed God for answers,

19 But they knew a secret to sustainable productivity (thriving) which the modern Christian who had imbibed the culture of anointing oil, special prayers by special men of God do not know. They knew that the face of God had to shine on whatever they are presenting before results can come.

20 If you are staying in the courts of the LORD, who are you
If you are staying in the courts of the LORD, who are you? Who is the person that stays in the courts of the LORD? The Aaronic priests knew the answer. They knew that in the presence of the LORD, only dead men stay there to receive, Only dead men can see God’s face. Exodus 33:17-20

21 The Aaronic Priests The Bells and Pomegranates. Trust. Living by faith. Selflessness - for Israel’s sake. 1 Cor. 15:31; Gal. 6:14 ; Romans 8:36-37 Gal. 1:16

22 CLOSING PROV. 3:13-18 Don’t seek riches and honour. Seek the one holding everything. The word

23 RETAIN SPEAKS OF CONTINUITY
Psalm 25:9-10 Isaiah 57:15 Hosea 2:7-8 Isa. 48:17
