Beaker A special glass jar used to hold liquids.

Graduated Cylinder A glass or plastic tube with a base and numbered marks on its side that is used to measure liquids precisely. You read a graduated cylinder at the meniscus

Test Tube Slender glass tube used to hold chemicals during reactions.

Bunsen Burner This tool burns gas and is used for heating materials.

Petri Dish A small, flat, clear dish used to grow mold or bacteria.

Microscope Slide A small piece of glass which holds samples for viewing under a microscope.
