Placements: “To suit the backgrounds, career goals and skills sets of our team” Minimum of 5 different projects A greater focus on a a degree-specific/vocational area Inc. minimum of 2 Special Needs Projects, 3 Youth or Children’s Teaching Projects

Suited to students & graduates Background in Psychology/Mental Health Those wanting a career in clinical psychology, social work or counseling

Special Needs/Occupational Therapy Placements
Suited to students & graduates with a background in OT, Speech & Language Therapy, Nursing, Social Care or SEN Looking to challenge themselves by working in a new culture Art Therapies Music/Physical Games/Vocational Activities: Bead making, weaving Training Run by a Sri Lankan Speech & Language therapist

Teaching Placement Suited to students and graduates with a background in TEFL, Education or English. Following a career in Teaching PGCE Training: We work with TEFL.org.uk , providing an 80 hour course to volunteers. SLV also provide a teaching workshop & help planning lessons.
