Wave 2 Catch-up for our HCM 9.2 software
POI Mass Term Process from 8.9 Zero Standard Hours Fluid Foundation POI Mass Termination Process to be Re-implemented in HCM The custom processes to automatically terminate expired Person of Interest (POI) records, previously available in HRMS 8.9, will be re-implemented into HCM 9.2. To address changing business needs. To ensure this process is successful and POI records are terminated correctly, campus collaboration is requested. We are asking that each campus department run their POI report to identify expired POI records and update them accordingly. Campus liaisons should begin running reports and reviewing POI records now. We have a Step-by-Step guides out on our HCM Community site for your assistance in running this query and guidelines on how to update the planned exit date for your POI’s that you do not want to terminate. We are currently working with Employee Services to see when this process will run. We want to give our campuses plenty of time to clean up their POI’s planned exit date so it won’t be ran until later this year or the first of next year. Zero Standard Hours Our users have asked to have a way to enter zero standard hours on positions. PeopleSoft has a built-in error to stop zero standard hours on position for the USA. Through configuring the Business Unit defaults, we are able to enter a number that is very close to zero (.01), and therefore bypass the built-in error. Once the configuration is in place, the Position Data, Job Code and Job data will accept this new value.
