5 Newsletter Positions Every person has a job. Students will work together to successfully execute an outstanding newsletter. Editor-in-chief Managing editor Journalist Other positions as specified. Positions may change.

6 Newsletter Go to the following site to view STEM newsletters from last year: Take the next 8-10 minutes to look over previous newsletters, focusing on articles, writing style, etc.

8 Newsletter Articles Leadership Day Freshman Camp
Profile of a STEM Student PBL Other PBLs? Brainstorm: What other articles would be a great addition to the newsletter? Individually search newsletters, STEM page, NISD website, etc.

9 Homework Search news sources– any sources. Find two examples of article ideas. Write a persuasive paragraph for each article idea. Paragraphs on article ideas should be submitted through Moodle and are due by the beginning of class tomorrow. We will pitch ideas and sign up for responsibilities tomorrow during class. Assignment should be typed in MLA.
