The Louisiana Recycling Coalition is a membership based network of individuals and representatives from government, industry, and non-profit entities that support environmental stewardship through materials reduction, reuse, and recycling in Louisiana.

Works with state agencies to improve reporting and measurement for state- wide diversion rates.

15. Recycling Infrastructure Committee
Researches current recycling metrics (tonnages, distance traveled, etc.) to set goals and find appropriate technology to warrant new and more localized MRFs, transfer stations, and hauling contracts.

16. Industry development committee
Supports and reports upon the establishment of end market processors for recyclable commodities.

17. Education Committee
Shares Louisiana specific recycling educational material which includes information on where, how, and what to recycle.
