What’s in the building? Lounge Area for resting, studying, and kicking it between classes Entirely new public tabling space at the entrance of the first floor of the University Centre Dedicated co-working spaces for Clubs and Societies 24-hour open concept lounge with silent study spaces Large conference floor with an event capacity of up to 450 people Dance studio with a built-in audio system Fifteen bookable meeting rooms and co-working spaces Large event spaces (classroom sizes) Central offices dedicated for student services

Additional Information re: SUB Fee
Fee breakdown - $40/semester (tied to CPI) – Capital Costs + Operating fee + Interest at (4.7%) – Furnishing Costs + Renovations of existing spaces Break down of space – Refer to “Carleton University - Functional Space Program for a New Student Commons Building, draft 4.0” While this is still draft 4 and will continue to see iterations it has the bulk of the space breakdown. Completion date –
