Requirements for your Field Experience
Background Checks 3 different background checks are required Each level of background check is associated with a pre-determined course. * When you enroll in that course, you are flagged in our system to be notified to complete the next level of background check. * IMPORTANT: The notification will come to your WSU account as an “evite” from our background check vendor Castle Branch. * Unless you receive a notification, your current background check is valid. Freshman – Initial check – Before you enter any classroom -$ Admitted – Comprehensive check – When you are admitted into the College of Education -$ Student Teaching – Refresher check – Before you go out to do your Student Teaching - $26.00 Click Here for Information

In an ideal world –plan to schedule yourself between 20-40 hours of Field Experience per semester.
