Marine Biome Oceans, coral reefs, salt marshes. Contain salt water
Marine algae and phytoplankton supply much of the world's oxygen and also take in a large amount of carbon dioxide.

Fresh Water Any water that is less than 1% salt is fresh water.
Fresh water biomes include lakes, ponds, streams, rivers and wetlands.

Estuaries Estuaries are where rivers meet the sea and salt and fresh water mix. Ex: Hudson River. Estuaries contain many species that travel or migrate to complete different parts of their life cycle.
